Next Phase Academy is pleased to announce its partnership with Everyball Tennis and Halton Tennis Centre. A partnership that offers tennis students, who wish to pursue a career in sport, a brand new and exciting programme that combines further education with full-time tennis. Delivered by experienced professional coaches, at the fantastic Halton Tennis Centre, neighbouring Next Phase Academy’s base at Aylesbury Rugby Club.

Halton Tennis Centre has 3 acrylic and 3 clay indoor courts, and 6 artificial grass and 4 artificial clay outdoor floodlit courts. Set in the idyllic Chiltern Hills and located in close proximity to Next Phase Academy’s base at Aylesbury Rugby Club. Halton Tennis Centre is the perfect setting and facility to inspire the next generation of tennis student-athletes.

Everyball Tennis offers two unique programmes to NPA students.

• High Performance Academy programme
• Development Academy programme

High Performance Academy programme

This programme is for committed tournament players already competing at a county representative, regional, national, and international level.  Exit routes will be either professional tennis or US Collegiate tennis (NCAA Division 1&2) or GB University Tennis (National Premier League).  Players will embark on an intensive, integrated (mental, physical, technical, tactical) training programme bespoke to the specific needs and/or requirements of the individual.

Development Academy programme

This programme caters for ‘club’ standard tennis players who have an ambition to develop a future career in the sport of tennis (For example, tennis or sports coaching, sports administration or management, sports marketing, sports scientist, sports physio, strength and conditioning and more) Players will already have significant tennis experience at club level and possess a strong desire to develop their game further. Students will follow an intensive 4-day/week tennis training programme with built-in competitive opportunities and will be mentored through their LTA Level 1 and 2 qualifications, with exposure to other potential roles within tennis or sport.

Everyball Tennis is the one of the top coaching teams in the country with highly experienced and qualified LTA coaches. Proficient in both development and performance coaching.

NPA Tennis students will be supported to become the best that they can be, both on and off the court. Completing their further education and strength and conditioning at Aylesbury RFC. Tennis students will then be transferred to Halton Tennis Centre where they will spend their afternoons benefitting from professional coaching, and integrated match play, on a range of indoor and outdoor surfaces. Tennis students will also benefit from a yearly junior membership at Halton Tennis Centre.
